Our Isles Tour, with the addition of a Star Island Walkabout. Take a step back in time as you relax in a rocking chair on the grand veranda of the late 1800’s Oceanic Hotel, walk the well-worn paths of the historic island town of Gosport, and listen to waves lapping and birds calling. When we arrive on the island, your captain’s narrated walking tour provides a chance to learn about the fascinating history of the island and visit the charming stone chapel, an old graveyard, fishing cottages and the historic hotel. After the tour, or as soon as we dock since the guided tour is optional, there is time for you to relax and explore on your own.

Only 5 1/2 miles from Rye lie the Isles of Shoals. This starkly remote group of nine islands is a natural habitat for many species of marine life and has a remarkable history. A large fishing community thrived during the colonial days, and by the mid 1800’s, island hotels entertained many famous guests. Legends tell of pirates, buried treasure, ghosts, murders, and more. Today the islands are home to a historic conference center, a college marine lab, and one of the oldest lighthouses in the country. Large seal and bird populations live here too. Relax on the boat as we cruise slowly amongst all nine islands and learn about them from our expertly narrated tour.
Please note: the Isles Tour stops briefly at Star Island to pick up/drop off passengers spending time on the island. Passengers booked on the two hour Isles Tour remain on the boat for the duration of their trip and do not disembark.
